Package: snmpd
Version: 5.1.2-6.1
Severity: wishlist

The package should be split into snmpd and snmptrapd. This would allow
to install only snmpd on systems that will never issue traps. There
would be two init scripts, allowing use of the run level configuration
to choose which daemon to start, which in turn would make the
/etc/default files easier since the need for SNMPDRUN and TRAPDRUN
would vanish.

Greetings
Marc
