The branch is not dead, but it looks like its dead because bzr does no
longer publush the files themself, just the repo information and
hidden stuff in .bzr. It just publishes the stuff inside .bzr/ that
makes it look dead, I will fix it so that it does not show the
misleading files anymore. It can be checked out with: $ bzr get
http://people.ubuntu.com/~mvo/bzr/synaptic/synaptic--main/

and should have a up-to-date po/snypatic.pot in there (but double
check I sometimes mess that up and it may be outdated).
