I expect the bundled Thread::Queue will be upgraded when Perl 5.10.1 gets in, not earlier. I don't see a problem with a separate package, feel free to go ahead. Please file a bug about the Conflicts/Provides list when the separate package enters the archive. The perl-modules package could Provide: libthread-queue-perl (without the conflict) with 5.10.0 already so only versioned dependencies will pull in the separate package. > Upgrading only Thread::Queue in perl-modules would also need upgrading > thread::shared because T::Q 2.11 needs t::s 1.21, while perl-modules has > 1.14. Separate libthread-shared-perl has 1.21. Hm, I suppose perl should Provide:libthread-shared-perl too. -- Niko Tyni nt...@debian.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
