Those packages are a) unofficial, and b) an older version of libgmime.
And c) gmime2.1 is the unstable branch of gmime.

Sounds to me like the API changed. Maybe beagle itself should be fixed
to use the newer API? I don't see anything that points to me not having
created a proper -cil package (but it's my first one so I could be
mistaken).
