chmod -X filename
What does it do? It seems nothing. -X does not appear in man chmod.
Neither chmod prints an error for -X (while for -y for ex. it prints
an error).

In the man page X is described as follows:

The letters ‘rwxXstugo’ select the new permissions for the affected
       users: ...
execute only if the file is a directory or already has execute permis-
       sion for some user (X),

Sorry, I was too fast, I searched -X in the man page without finding anything.
