This bug seems to be still present in Lenny. We're preparing to take a
nsd3 setup based on Lenny in production, but we're receiving nightly
cron spam like follows:

> Subject: Cron <n...@pade> test -x /usr/sbin/nsdc && /usr/sbin/nsdc patch
> nsdc: no patch necessary.

I'm not sure if your patch from the unstable version would fix - it
removes another warning from nsd-patch, but doesn't nsdc still output
the warning above on line 280?

I think addressing daily cron spam is something to consider for Lenny.
