Brian are you able to test the package uploaded to experimental,
version 1.5.19-1?

Yes.

That has had a couple of minor IMAP changes relating to handling
NULL pointers, and I'd be curious to know if these changes fix
the bug..

The problem still occurs. The way I reproduced it is to leave mutt
open and connected to the server whilst I suspended the machine. When I
resume the machine (after some amount of time), I come back to mutt and
press ".", which says that it received an unknown TLS packet. It will
disconnect and reconnect. Then, when I use "c" to change to a mailbox,
it will read the header cache and then promptly segfault.

I also found another bug with the version in experimental; I'll report
that next.
