Package: ldirectord Version: 2.1.4-3 Severity: minor Hi,
The emailalert option in ldirectord.cf is defined in the manual page to be used with quotes: emailalert="[email protected]" However, these quotes are then used in the To: header of the generated email: To: "[email protected]" <@test1.example.com> The email arrives correctly because the envelope TO seems to be interpreted correctly. It seems what's needed is that the quotes used to specify the parameter value have to be stripped off before it's put into the To header. thanks, Thijs -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-powerpc Locale: LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nl_NL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ldirectord depends on: ii ipvsadm 1:1.24-2.1 Linux Virtual Server support progr ii libauthen-radius-perl 0.13-1 user authentication against radius ii libcrypt-ssleay-perl 0.57-1+b1 Support for https protocol in LWP ii libdbi-perl 1.607-1 Perl5 database interface by Tim Bu ii libdigest-hmac-perl 1.01-7 create standard message integrity ii libmail-pop3client-perl 2.17-1 POP3 client module for perl ii libmailtools-perl 2.04-1 Manipulate email in perl programs ii libnet-dns-perl 0.63-2 Perform DNS queries from a Perl sc ii libnet-imap-simple-perl 1.17-3 Perl extension for simple IMAP acc ii libnet-imap-simple-ssl-perl 1.3-3 Subclass of Net::IMAP::Simple with ii libnet-ldap-perl 1:0.39-1 client interface to LDAP servers ii libwww-perl 5.820-1 WWW client/server library for Perl ii perl [libdigest-md5-perl] 5.10.0-19 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii perl-modules [libnet-perl] 5.10.0-19 Core Perl modules Versions of packages ldirectord recommends: ii logrotate 3.7.7-3 Log rotation utility ii sysklogd [system-log-daemon] 1.5-5 System Logging Daemon ldirectord suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
