Bug#507615: Some progress on backporting the fix

I've managed to apply the patch on 2.0.1 and upgraded 1.1.2's Mnesia databases with two records in PubSub tables.
The upgrade went smoothly but ejabberd still fails in some code related to scanning the PubSub tables (on IQ disco requests). 

So it will take some time to figure out what was wrong.
