Package: graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat Version: 1.1.11-3.2 Severity: important
Please see bug report # 514456 concerning imagemagick (and 514488 sorry, my mistake with adding to the first bug report) where I found encoding 720x540 .jpg photos to a slideshow to be very slow. Graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat is about 11% slower, which is not so much of an issue, but imagemagick was 258% slower. As instructed, I am filing a separate bug report so the dev team can reach and maintain 100% compatibility as directed by Bastien ROUCARIES -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (800, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.27-1-mepis64-smp (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat depends on: ii graphicsmagick 1.1.11-3.2 collection of image processing too graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat recommends no packages. graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
