Or make them conflict and ship /usr/bin/bogofilter in every package. But this seems like the less favourable solution to me. If every backend uses a different database file name, there should be no trouble, IMHO. Of course, if the admin switches the varian the alternative points to, he should be aware that all the bayes databases will be empty, if he did not use this variant before. My motiviation is: after installing bogofilter-tdb, my mail processing came to a grinding halt, because "suddenly" there was no bogofilter binary in the path, which quite surprised me.
