The package that contains pyhton bindings for Beagle is python-beagle. This package have to be installed if you want to use them. Deskbar-applet does only recommend pyhton-beagle, but it seems that somehow it needs the package installed. Perhaps, that recommendation has to be promoted to a full dependency.
