Package: iptables

Hello,
I work on Debian Lenny (5.0) with kernel 2.6.26
When I use the following command:
iptables-save > ./file-iptables
It return this:
iptables-save v1.4.2 Unable to open /proc/net/ip_tables_name: No such
file or directory.
I already sent an email about this problem (in December 2008). But I
have no answer about this problem (may be my mail is lost).
