It seems that there are several options that have actually a different
default value as described in the documentation.
If you look in the sources in bin/named/config.c
serial-queries 20;
=> "BIND 9 does not limit the number of outstanding serial queries and
ignores the serial-queries option."
allow-query-cache-on { any; };
=> "If not specified, the default is to allow cache queries on any
address, localnets and localhost."
(This is a little bit paradox.)
max-cache-size default;
=> "The default is 32M."
dnssec-validation yes;
=> "The default is no."
notify-delay 5;
=> "The default is zero."
forward <none>
=> Is it possible that a ";" is missing here in the code?
=> Shouldn't this be something like "first"? Because "A value of first,
the default"
max-retry-time 1209600;
min-retry-time 500;
max-refresh-time 2419200;
min-refresh-time 300;
=> The docs don't tell that there is any default for this.
This should probably be reported upstream, too.
