would be glad to see rails>= 2.1.2 coming... just a gentle reminder :)

Ok. I'll try to get version 2.3.0 uploaded this weekend. Will that work
for redmine?

actually redmine 0.8.1 (production release) works with rails 2.1.2 (the only completed milestone listed on http://rails.lighthouseapp.com/projects/8994-ruby-on-rails/milestones) and redmine 0.9 is supposed to work with rails 2.2. I'm going to test it with 2.3.

maybe 2.3 is a bit in advance ?

I would agree that 2.3 is a bit too new right now and we must hae 2.1.2 (for Redmine at least), but I would like to see 2.2 in the not too distant future. 2.2 includes quite a few goodies that are too good to pass up, including:

   * Ruby 1.9.x compatibility
   * Internationalization built-in
   * ETag support
   * Thread safety
   * ActiveRecord connection pooling, dynamic finders, better
     migrations, etc.
   * Plus a whole lot of other little goodies (memoization, shallow
     routes, etc.)

Thanx!
