When I hit the powerbutton, or choose shutdown from the kdm menu which I configured to invoke /sbin/poweroff, the computer does complete the system poweroff. Instead it prints the following messages: Shutdown: hda ACPI: Preparing to enter system sleep state S5 Disabling non-boot CPUs ...
