Hm, that's unfortunate.
As the libcpanplus-perl package was never part of a stable release and was
removed from Debian in 2005 (see #292754), I'm downgrading the severity.
Hm, I should also have mentioned that you should be able to fix this just
by removing libcpanplus-perl. The CPANPLUS module is included with the Perl
core since 5.9.5.
Yes, that's what I did, I dpkg'd -r libcpanplus-perl
