Package: vm
Version: 8.0.12-1
Severity: normal
Manoj,
Mail with 'vm' on my system broke -- I get an error
'vm-decode-postponed-mime-message undefined'
on attempts to reply and cite.
I use emacs (currently emacs-snapshot), supercite, bbdb and vm. The setup is
somewhat archaic and I cannot exclude that it has some influence on this.
But even without my ~/.vm file it breaks, and a quick google search reveals
that other seem to have hit it too.
The fix was simple -- force a load of 'vm-pine' via my ~/.vm file. There may
be other/better fixes. And I don't know how to set up a better regression
test on this. I presume it works for you?
If you disagree with the bugreport, feel free to close it. I figure it's
worth documenting that at least one person was helped by a simple
(load-library "vm-pine")
Thanks, Dirk
