Package: acpi-support
Version: 0.109-11
Severity: important

Every time I plug in the power, Gnome launches Evolution.

This is because /etc/acpi/events/asus-mail triggers on the 'ATKD
00000050' hotkey. I assume that some Asus systems do generate that event
for the mail key, so that means the action to take should be
conditionned on whether this is an EeePC or not.

One way to do it would be to condition the action on an
if-asus-not-eee.sh script, just like /etc/acpi/event/asus-eee-volume-up
depends on /etc/acpi/if-asus-eee.sh.

Another way would be to modify if-asus-eee.sh to run $1 if the laptop is
an EeePC and $2 otherwise. In this particular case we would invoke it as
'if-asus-eee.sh "" mailbtn.sh'. Finding an empty string as the command,
if-asus-eee.sh would do nothing.

I could produce a patch for either approach if you're interested. For
now I have just commented out the action line in asus-mail.

issues.
