Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.11.11-1~lenny1
Severity: normal
When Debian is installed with root login disabled, selecting "Become
root" and entering a password generates the following error:
E: Subprocess exited with an error -- did you type your password
correctly?
I would have expected Aptitude to be aware that root login is disabled
and either use sudo to become root or provide an accurate error message.
