Trying to run the mondoarchive directly rather than using my backup script show that after failing to create 2.88M boot+data disk images mondo waits for confirmation. Mindi failed to create your boot+data disks. ---promptpopup---1--- Fatal error. Failed to create 2.88MB floppy disk image. ---promptpopup---Q--- [OK] --- --> and then waits for the user to press enter. After pressing enter I get: Fatal error... Failed to generate boot+data disks ---FATALERROR--- Failed to generate boot+data disks Please try the snapshot (the version with 'cvs' and the date in its filename)to see if that fixes the problem. Please don't bother the mailing list withyour problem UNTIL you've tried the snapshot. The snapshot contains bugfixeswhich might help you. Execution run ended; result=254 Type 'less /var/log/mondo-archive.log' to see the output log but my command line is: mondoarchive -On server:/backup -l GRUB -d /daily/$day/$server -F -E "$backup_dir" and -F should prevent the creation of boot+data disks.
