Package: python-pygraphviz
Version: 0.99-1

Hi,

The python-pygraphviz rules file contains the following:

DEB_PYSUPPORT_DIR            =
$(CURDIR)/debian/python-pygraphviz/usr/share/python-support/python-pygraphviz
…
binary-install/python-pygraphviz::
        …
        # Fix test.py permissions (not an upstream problem)
        chmod a+x $(DEB_PYSUPPORT_DIR)/pygraphviz/tests/test.py

With the upcoming version of python-support (currently in experimental),
such statements will make the package FTBFS, since the files are now
moved to a different directory (/usr/share/pyshared).

I suggest to do these things before the dh_pysupport call, and from the
standard installation directory:

install/python-pygraphviz::
        chmod 0755 debian/python-pygraphviz/usr/lib/`pyversions
-d`/pygraphviz/tests/test.py

As a general rule, please do not rely on the internals of python-support
in the packaging; this will avoid such issues in the future (although
hopefully there won’t be a need to change the paths any further).

Thanks,
