Package: wpasupplicant Version: 0.6.4-3 Followup-For: Bug #501859
I have the same problem with my iwl3945 card when using an 2.6.26-amd64 kernel. Changing to 2.6.26-686 kernel solved the problem for me. Im not sure if this is a bug or if I simply used the wrong kernel. My computer has a dual-core CPU. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages wpasupplicant depends on: ii adduser 3.110 add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.1-5 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libpcsclite1 1.4.102-1 Middleware to access a smart card ii libreadline5 5.2-3.1 GNU readline and history libraries ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-15 SSL shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.2-20 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip wpasupplicant recommends no packages.
