Depends on what the acpi-support script does. Please keep in mind that the script got moved not deleted. If the ones in acpi-support* do not work correctly please report that as a bug ut blaming the daemon does not seem to help. The post-Lenny removal of the acpid scripts has been decided some time ago. Actually there some tries before Lenny that just proved to not be smooth enough this short before a release. That's why we do it now.
