Package: pristine-tar
Version: 0.21
Severity: wishlist

pristine-tar should not be using refs/heads/pristine-tar as the
refs/heads/ namespace is for branches, for heads that someone works
with. As such, they show up in gitk and the like.

It would be better if pristine-tar kept its trees referenced from
e.g. refs/pristine-tar/1.2 or the like.

Switching to that is likely going to be best done with a one-off
migration, rather than a compatibility layer.
