When using Gallery2 with PostgreSQL as a database backend, I get the
following error when using "image block" in sidebar theme settings:

This aborted transaction also causes the exif block not being displayed.
When I remove "image block" from theme settings, exif works like a charme.
Maybe this also has impact on other packages such as serendipity.
There's a s9y plugin to integrate the random image block into the s9y
sidebar. I discovered the above error while trying to get that s9y
plugin working, but the server always gave me a error 500.
