Package: dictd
Version: 1.11.0.dfsg-1
Severity: wishlist
There is a problem if one chooses inetd:
The problem is if one picks "No", one doesn't really know what you
will do next.
One thinks "maybe he'll clean it up for me", but alas no.
What I would do is print the message, and then just bail out telling
the user to remove the entry and rerun apt-get install.
An unrecognized entry for dict was found in /etc/inetd.conf while trying to
add the following entry: │
│
│
│ dict stream tcp nowait dictd.dictd /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/dictd --inetd
│
│
│
│ The unrecognized entry is:
│
│
│
│ dict stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/dictd -i
│
│
│
│ Leave existing entry and continue without changes?
│
│
│
│ <Yes> <No>
