Yes I know, I have already worked on updating the libpoppler patch, for luatex this is done, for TeX Live I have still to do it. But there are more things here, because we have to first upload a version of tex-common which fixes the debhelper "I don't like it if you use command line switches" release breaking the building of most TeX packages we use. The current code base also has trigger support, so it would be nice to switch over to that for the texlive packages, too. Then we can upload new texlive packages. But why do you need to rebuild texlive-binaries? BTW, you can get the libpoppler from lenny I suppose...
