Package: devscripts
Version: 2.10.47
Severity: wishlist

licensecheck is a useful tool for packaging - however, it does not seem
to deal gracefully (read: at all) with reasonably common multi-line
copyright statements in the following format:

 * Copyright © 2000 Keith Packard, member of The XFree86 Project, Inc.
 * 2005 Lars Knoll & Zack Rusin, Trolltech
 * 2008 Aaron Plattner, NVIDIA Corporation

Despite obviously being part of a copyright "block" to the human eye,
only the line specifically starting with "Copyright" is parsed, leading
to people being skipped over when not manually verifying all
licensecheck output (at which point its usefulness is zero)
