Dear Thomas, I can guess that, like all of us, you have been very busy lately. Any idea when LilyPond 2.12 (now 2.12.2) will be packaged for Debian Sid? I am certainly looking forward to the updated package (and will use it to backport a version to Lenny, if at all possible)!
By the way, I notice that the latest (unreleased) Ubuntu, Jaunty, includes LilyPond 2.12.1-0ubuntu1. You might (or might not) want to use Gavin Pocentek's patch as a basis for the Debian version; you can find it at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lilypond.
