Could you build a gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg package with debug symbols and get new backtraces? For this do apt-get build-dep gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg apt-get source gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="nostrip debug noopt" CFLAGS="-g -O0" dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us -rfakeroot and then install the resulting packages. This seems to be quite a bad bug :)
