Package: gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg Version: 0.10.6.2-1 Followup-For: Bug #519226
I have the same problem, gnome-settings-daemon just dies again and again. I honestly don't see why the hell gnome-settings-daemon needs access to gstreamer/ffmpeg, shouldn't it do anything else but load the configurations?? Anyway, that is *really* a sad problem, making Gnome a bit unusable for me.
