Hi,
you wrote the following report to debian bug tracker:

You set the trackpad mode with external programs. This won't
work as long as NoTapTyping is set to 'yes' because pbbuttonsd
will restore it's own mode nearly every time a key is released.
The tool trackpad modified the trackpad mode but doesn't tell
pbbuttonsd about that, so the mode is reset a milisecond or so
later.
In the default configuration the option NoTapTyping is set to
'yes' by mistake. This will change with the next release.
Solution: Set the configuration option NoTapTyping to 'no'.
After this you should be able to temporarely change the trackpad
mode with the 'trackpad' tool again.
Best Regards
Matthias
