The reason for this behaviour is that debcheck reuses information about installability of packages of dependencies, which is one of the tricks behind its speed. We should provide for a way to "unfold" the explanation in this case, and this should be the default behaviour in case one asks about a specific package. In the maeantime, until we fix this: the edos-builddebcheck wrapper contains logic to work around this, in that case the wrapper does the unfolding (look for option "-be"). -Ralf. -- Ralf Treinen Laboratoire Preuves, Programmes et Systèmes Université Paris Diderot, Paris, France. http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~treinen/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
