Package: dpkg
Version: 1.14.25
Followup-For: Bug #520523

        The "offending" line is in /lib/lsb/init-functions at line 52.
It reads:
---
    args="--start --chdir '$PWD' --nicelevel $nice --quiet --oknodo"

Getting rid of the single apostrophes fixes the problem. But I'm not
sure it's the right solution.
