Package: emacs22-common
Version: 22.2+2-5

Summary: Latest Emacs will switch buffers away from gud buffer
when reaching a breakpoint. Extremely annoying.

This bug should be dealt with by upstream.

When debugging with gdb under Emacs in gud-mode, the latest Emacs
has the annoying habit of switching buffers away from the *gud...*
buffer.

This happens mainly when the execution flow reaches a breakpoint,
and when no other screen or window shows the code listing of that
breakpoint.

Previous Emacses would then split the screen, and show the location
of the breakpoint in the "other half", while input focus remains in
the gud buffer.

The latest Emacs has changed that, it will replace the gud buffer
with the buffer showing the code.

This is extremely annoying when one is focused on the debugging
session and expects to communicate with the debugger.
It is in no way an improvement (which was perhaps intended).

Please fix that.
