unfortunately the problem still exists on Lenny.

These are the sticks I tried on an Ubuntu Gutsy system:

Second stick does not work on Lenny, first stick works perfectly. Seems to 
depend on the UUID.

Lenny system has libpam-usb 0.4.2-1, and pamusb-tools 0.4.2-1 installed.
