The main reason I haven't made an RM request for wx2.4 myself already is that CTSim still depends on it and has had trouble being ported to newer versions. I think it's a cool use of Debian in the 'real world' and it will be a shame to see it also kicked as 'collateral damage' -- but I agree there is a limit to how long we can extend that courtesy or to maintain all of this for a single package, so I'm happy to defer to your judgement now if that time has finally come. You'll want to add ctsim to the list of RM candidates with this, and maybe give Kevin a final heads-up on that (though he's known it has been on the horizon for quite some time now).
