Package: mktemp
Version: 1.6-2
Severity: normal
File: /bin/mktemp

mktemp uses exactly 6 Xs from its template. This is contrary to what the manual page says and quite surprising, especially given that the default template contains 10 Xs:

/tmp/tmp.XXXXH467oR
$ mktemp
/tmp/tmp.XXXXaWVaKe
$ mktemp
/tmp/tmp.XXXX6a4fkS
$ mktemp
/tmp/tmp.XXXX3POQGi
