Psad does not have any dependency on mailutils | bsd-mailx | exim4 | mail-transport-agent. Having none of mailutils and bsd-mailx packages installed, I do not have the mail command available on my system. It makes impossible to psadwatchd to send emails to let the user know a service has been restarted. The solution is to work as done for fwknopd/knopwatchd, add a dependency on exim4 | mail-transport-agent and use sendmail. Michael has already added this feature to psad, so it just has to be continued for psadwatchd. I plan to update the deamon since the new -O option is almost working.
