If I read correctly the backtraces, there is a problem with the
pyg_type_add_interfaces function. This function was introduced in pygtk
2.16 (see
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/svn-commits-list/2009-January/msg03322.html ).

I need to investigate a bit more.
