I'm sorry for bringing this up again, but we're now in testing and I've
only received more of these warning messages instead of less:

ignored in a future release.

a dpkg -S gives the following:

module-init-tools: /etc/modprobe.d/isapnp
udev: /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
module-init-tools: /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-framebuffer
module-init-tools: /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-watchdog
module-init-tools: /etc/modprobe.d/options
alsa-base: /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-modem
libsane: /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-scanner
udev: /etc/modprobe.d/pnp-hotplug
udev: /etc/modprobe.d/display_class
fuse-utils: /etc/modprobe.d/fuse

$ apt-cache policy module-init-tools udev alsa-base libsane | egrep -A1
'(\*|^[a-z])' | grep -v -- --
module-init-tools:
  Installed: 3.7-pre9-1

udev:

libsane:

I understand this is very low-priority, but would it make sense to file
separate bugs at each package?

Regards,
Arno
