Linus Walleij has kindly prepared a patch that may fix Bug#484696. Could
you please try the new packages found in the apt-getable repository below:
http://people.debian.org/~rafael/libmtp/
The patch metionned above has been applied to version 0.3.6, which has just
been released [1]. I would be grateful to you if you can test the package
in my repository above, such that I can close this bug report in the next
upload of the package.

Any news on this? If I do not here from you soon, I will assume that this
bug is fixed.
Thanks
Hi! Thanks for the reminder. Sorry about that, I haven't been able to
test it because of a hard drive failure on the machine in question. It
was the drive on which Linux was installed. I only have Windows on that
computer now, so I'm unfortunately not able to test it... Also, I only
have Linux on my laptop, so I can't try the TV card in a computer with
Debian on it.
