Package: bochsbios Version: 2.3.7-1 Severity: normal QEMU 0.10.0 upstream is using a more recent BIOS than one bochsbios provides. As QEMU in Debian is using the BIOS from bochsbios, it causes some boot failures of some OS.
The upstream BIOS of QEMU is using the current bochsbios CVS plus a few patches that can be found here: http://git.kernel.org/?p=virt/qemu/qemu.git;a=tree;f=pc-bios/bios-pq;h=e97d5400ed250053acb55d486bf7a72a285a8e3b;hb=HEAD -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.28-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
