Hi,
I have not been able to reproduce this. Can you see f you can
log the installation of the image? During installation, it should run
depmod, and then the modules.deb file shall be created.
For some reason it did not happen when you installed the kernel
image; and I have asked around, and no one had this happen to
them. Since I can't reproduce this, I can't debug it, and I need your
help.
A log of the image installation process (aptitude reinstall
should be fine), and the log from boot where you can see the errors
would be helpful.
