Hello Alex, I've tried patching current sources of opencv in Debian by replacing two files which have undergone changes (cvcap_ffmpeg.cpp & cvcap_dc1394.cpp), but it does not compile anyway...
Is it possible to try packaging the whole more recent release opencv-1.1.0pre, or even a svn snapshop? Those versions do compile & work with the most recent versiones of the dependent libs. Let me know if I can contribute in some way to this.
