So yes, loading that module creates the devices and everything works.
But it should be auto-loaded. Who is supposed to load it ? For now, I can do it the wrong way and go ahead and add the entry in /etc/modules. But I don't want to do that. Please help me. This is not an alsa bug anymore. Just please tell me which app does the device probe and load of modules during boot. Thank you for all your help.
