Package: ifplugd
Version: 0.28-15
Severity: wishlist
While I have used ifplugd for wlan interfaces in the past, I find
nowadays that the "wpa-roam" option in /etc/network/interfaces serves me
better. OTOH I do find ifplugd very handy for ethernet interfaces. So I
cannot use INTERFACES="auto" since it causes ifplugd to interfere with
wpa-roam on the wlan interfaces. But I'd like to use a form of
auto-selection for ethernet interfaces, to avoid having to explicitly
list which ethernet interfaces I have in each of my machines.
Basically, I'd like to be able to say something like
INTERFACES="eth*"
