Package: apt Version: 0.6.38 Severity: normal
Hi, I tried the following command that fails: # apt-key update ERROR: Can't find the archive-keyring Is the debian-keyring package installed? I have installed the "debian-keyring" package but it does not contain the expect keyring /usr/share/keyrings/debian-archive-keyring.gpg. It only contains the following keyrings: /usr/share/keyrings/debian-keyring.pgp /usr/share/keyrings/debian-keyring.gpg /usr/share/keyrings/debian-role-keys.gpg If this is a doc bug, please point to the correct package (I have not found any other relevant keyring package). If this a temporary situation waiting for a new version of debian-keyring, please reassign this bug to the debian-keyring package. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages apt depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.0-11 GCC support library ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.6-7 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 apt recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
