Package: libept
Version: 0.5.26
Hello!, libept people.
I’d like to bring up for your consideration the idea of shipping the
HTML documentation for libept in a separate package than libept-dev, eg.
libept-doc.
There are two issues. One is the space/duplication argument, which is
not that of a big issue in this case since libept’s compressed
documentation is only a bit more than 2MB (so about 20-25MB of wasted
space in total).
Anyway, the other bit that concerns me is that having libept
build-depend on graphviz somewhat complicates the build-depends chain.
For the moment, at the moment the apt transition is stalled because
libept can’t be rebuilt in several places because... pango1.0 is
uninstallable.
Do you have any thoughts why it would be a bad idea to make this split?
Cheers,
